Constructed in 1910 at the height of the district's industrial boom, Duncan House stands as one of King-Spadina's most enduring manufacturing landmarks, taking its name from Duncan Street, the historic spine of the area's early 20th-century factories and warehouses. Listed on the City of Toronto Heritage Register in 2017, the six-and-a-half-storey Classical Revival structure, complemented by a sympathetic two-storey addition completed around 1990, has been carefully preserved and repositioned as a premier creative workspace within walking distance of the Financial District, the Theatre District and the King West restaurant corridor.
